Aaron Lee Bohlar

AARON LEE BOHLAR, age 34 of Brooklyn, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Beloved son of Terrill Lee and Ginger Ann Bohlar; loving brother of Terra Katzbach (Mark); dearest nephew of Sondra Johnson (Richard, deceased), Don Hayes, and Lisa McCathern (neé Bohlar); cousin of Damon, Nikki, Ethan, Rachel, Chanel, Chloe, Crystalle, Bryce, Bree, Ryland, and many others. Aaron was an avid member of Cleveland Baptist Church and a proud graduate of Brooklyn High School and Cuyahoga Community College. While in school, he was a member of the Brooklyn High School Drama Club and looked forward to acting in the performances each year. Aaron was a sports fan and participant. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, tennis, and swimming, but he favored golf above all. He was the 2007 winner of the CAT Tour at Shawnee Hills Golf Course in Bedford, an accomplishment he took much pride in. Aaron struggled with epilepsy, which contributed to his passing, but he always had a positive outlook on life. Aaron made friends with everybody he met and never met a person he did not like. He lived life with a smile on his face and found joy in every day. He most looked forward to Sundays and Wednesdays when he met with his church family at Cleveland Baptist Church for worship, and for bible study and games on Fridays, in which he took great joy.

We will miss our sweet young man. We know he is in heaven with Jesus and that we will join him some day. Until that day, “We pray Lord God Almighty, thank you for the Best Son ever and give him love forever until we join him there. Amen.”

All services at Cleveland Baptist Church, 4431 Tiedeman Rd., Cleveland, Tuesday, June 3, at 11 a.m. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), MONDAY, June 2, 2025 from 4-7 p.m.
