ADRIAN J. JAKUS “Jake”, age 88; passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Beloved husband of Ethel “Cookie” (nee Hochschild) for 50 years; loving father of John (Jamie), Kristine Davis (Jason) and Michael; cherished Papa of Jayden Jakus, Jordynn Jakus, Jackson Davis, Makenzie Davis, Scarlett Jakus and Violet Jakus; son of the late John and Veronica Jakus; brother of the late Shirley Stavole (John); uncle of Joseph Stavole. Jake served as a Cleveland Firefighter for 32 years and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, hanging with the guys, and especially enjoyed his grandkids sports. He loved his kids and his wife, and was a real family guy. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) TUESDAY, July 28, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Burial will take place privately at Holy Cross Cemetery.
