Alice Jane Emmett

ALICE JANE EMMETT (nee Hoover), Age 89 of Richfield, passed away Thursday November 23, 2017; beloved wife of the late Daniel Emmett for 57 years; loving mother of Tom Emmett (deceased) (Liz); dearest grandmother of Ashley Emmett-Linnert (Bill); great grandmother of Camden and Declan Linnert; daughter of the late John Redfield Hoover and Janet Amanda Weston Hoover; sister of John Redfield Hoover (deceased) (Ann) and Janet Elizabeth Hoover Powers (Richard) (both deceased); loving aunt of many. Alice enjoyed operating Emmett Farms with her husband Dan. She was a graduate of KSU, a teacher, counselor, musician, and enjoyed playing tennis into her early 80’s. She will be greatly missed by many. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. All services are private.
