ALLEN “CHUCK” BALCH, age 74, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022.  Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Emrick) for 55 years; loving father of Scott (Patti), Aimee Scali (Christopher) and Todd (Tricia); dearest grandfather of Taylor (Albert), Kyle (Jenna), Jacob (Amanda), Alexandra (James), Andrea, Ava and Hailey; great-grandfather of Wyatt and Kennadie; brother of Mary Anne Speigel (Robert) and the late John (Pam) and Graydon Hammer; uncle and friend of many.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org . Final resting place Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.  Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), MONDAY, JANUARY 2, 2023 from 2-6 p.m. with a service at 5:30 p.m.
