Amy L. Palmiero, PhD, MSHS, CSSGB (nee Sarrett), age 58, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on May 17, 2026. Beloved wife of Rosino Palmiero for 40 years; loving mother of Kalynne and Rosario Palmiero; daughter of the late Rondell Roy and Judith Kay Sarrett; sister of Rebecca Weeks, Rondell Sarrett (Harriet) and David Sarrett; daughter-in-law of the late Erasmo and Antonia Palmiero; sister-in-law of Guy Schamp (Josephine, deceased), Tony Palmiero (Louann) and Pat Palmiero (Silvia); aunt of Richard Schamp (Giovanna), Antonietta Porter (Zack), Amythyst and Alex Weeks, Antonia Moriarty (Jim), Maria Murphy (Brandon), Christina VanAssche (Jim), Raimo, Antonella and Leodora Palmiero and Ronnie and Reuben Sarrett; great-aunt of Massimo, Gianna, Leandro, Nina, Antonio, Victoria, Juliana, Braxton, Payton, Anna, Lia and Grayson

Amy received her Bachelor’s in Business and Health Care Administration from Baldwin Wallace University in 2012, her Master’s in Health Services from Cleveland State University in 2016, and her Doctorate of Philosophy in Health Services from Walden University in 2022.

To Many, Amy was a second mother, a coach, a mentor, and a rock to lean on. Amy’s unconditional love and compassion will be missed by all who had the honor of crossing paths with her.
