Andrea Janice Cwiklinski

ANDREA JANICE CWIKLINSKI (nee Fenohr), North Ridgeville, OH, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Frank Cwiklinski; loving mother to daughter, Michelle (spouse, K. Swanson) of Boerne, TX, and sons, Francis (deceased), and Chris of Westlake, OH; dearest grandmother to Cole and Nicholas. Born in Cleveland, OH to George P. and M. Dorothy (nee Marusa). Andrea graduated from Parma Senior High School. Andrea met and married her beloved husband Frank while they were swimming with friends at a local lake in Parma. They married on July 25, 1964, and were married for 59 years until his passing. Andrea completed her Nursing Degree from Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus in 1980. Upon graduation, she worked at Parma Hospital, first in Cardiac Care until she found her passion in Labor and Delivery. She loved her job as a labor and delivery nurse and was there for the birth of two of her great nieces and was even nominated for Nurse of the Year. They raised their family in Parma, OH, and resided there until she retired from Parma Hospital. After retirement, Andrea and Frank split their time between Estero, FL, and North Ridgeville, OH. During her time in Parma, she was proud of her service as a CCD teacher at Holy Family Church of Parma, OH. Andrea was very involved in her children’s lives at all levels of their education. There are fond memories of her at sporting events, and band and choir concerts (she was a Valley Forge Band mom). She was especially proud when her son Frank attended West Point and was a member of the Northeast Ohio West Point Parents Club. She was overjoyed by the birth of her grandchildren Cole and Nicholas hence why they had a second home in Ohio to be close to them. As a snowbird in FL, she went on multiple cruises with Frank and even played bocci ball with community members. While in North Ridgeville, she enjoyed attending her grandsons’ sporting events, teaching them how to bake, and purchasing art at their art shows.  Service will be held at The Ripepi Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 17, 1 P.M. followed by a procession to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH. Interment in the columbarium. Friends will be received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2024, from 12-1 p.m.
