Anne Jean (née Kaitis) Fernback, 91, of Parma, OH took her final bow on October 1, 2026 surrounded by family and her devoted partner, Steve Bridge. Born on May 18, 1935 to Joseph and Anne Kaitis, Anne Jean was known as a trailblazer who refused to follow the pack. She was an early adopter of all things unconventional, especially as they related to spiritual and physical well being. Later in life, Anne Jean emerged as a gifted dancer and choreographer with the Raisin' Canes of the Parma Senior Center for 25 years. Here, she joined forces with her dance-partner-turned-life partner, Steve Bridge, who cared for her until the end and deeply mourns her loss. Anne Jean was the beloved wife of Harry Henry Fernback, Jr., the loving mother of Virginia Anne Gedeon (Mike), Joseph Edward Fernback (Pamela), Lynda Marie Konet (Jim), and Lauri Jean Stash (Andy). Anne Jean is preceded in death by Harry and her cherished daughter, Virginia, as well as her dear sisters Eleanor Pawl and Sandy Stevens, and cousin Richard "Ralph" Krause. She was aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Anne Jean is also survived by grandchildren Michael (Rachael), Joseph, Nicholas, Emily, Amanda, James, Kieran, Michael and great-grandchildren Danny, Brady, Michael, Jack, Jazmine, and Lily. Services will be held on October 24, 2026. Visitation is from 2-4 pm and will be followed by a memorial service at THE RIPEPI COMMUNITY CENTER, 5784 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), PARMA
