ANNE KUSER, age 99; passed away on November 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late William Kuser, dear sister of the late John Fircz, Jr., and the beloved daughter of the late John Fircz, Sr. and the late Mary Strachan. She leaves behind her dear step-daughter, Doreen Burns (Todd) of Texas; step-granddaughter, Jacqueline Lorge (Ryan); step-great granddaughter, Kendall Lorge and great grandson, Griffin Lorge; step-grandsons Kenneth and Heath Barton; her late husband’s adopted daughter, Susan May (Alva, deceased) of Texas, her sons Brett, Eric and Brad Krueger, and grandchildren. Also remembered are her relatives and friends. Being adventurous, she and a girlfriend moved to California to support the World War II effort. After a short training period, she worked at Lockheed Aircraft as an assembler. She attended classes at the University of Southern California, and to keep up her typing and shorthand skills, enrolled at the Los Angeles City College. Returning to Cleveland, she worked for The Osborn Manufacturing Company (Brush Division), starting out as a clerk-typist and working her way up to become an Administrative Assistant to the Treasurer and later to the Vice President, until retirement called. She did some Red Cross volunteering at St. Johns Hospital, was active with the Cleveland Sokols (Clark Avenue) and was a past member of the Ridgewood YMCA. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to All Saints Episcopal Church, 8911 W. Ridgewood Dr., Parma, OH 44130. Services will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. Entombment Brooklyn Heights Mausoleum. Family and friends received in church from 10-11 a.m.
