ANTONIETTA CARECCIA (nee Simonelli), age 76; passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023. Loving wife of the late Francesco for 40 years; beloved mother of Victoria Serpone (Sante); Michelina “Nina” Careccia and Josephine Ramos (Nelson, Jr.); grandmother of Assunta Mastroberti (Joseph), Nicole Sutter (Matthew), Gianfranco Serpone, Jackson Merriman and Joseph Ramos; great-grandmother of three; daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Giovanna (nee DiGirolamo) Simonelli; sister of the late Michele Simonelli, Maria Simonelli, Nicola Simonelli and Saverina Simonelli; aunt, cousin and dear friend of many. Antonietta loved to cook and cherished her Sunday dinners with her family. She loved to crochet and would make sure everyone had blankets, hats and gloves.
