Antonio DiGiandomenico (affectionately known by family and friends as Tonino or Tony), 87, passed away on December 28, 2017 in Parma, Ohio. Antonio was born to Alfredo and Domenica DiGiandomenico on May 12, 1930 in Castiglione a Casauria, Abruzzo, Italy. Antonio worked with his father to support their family during World War II, learning the bricklaying trade. After the war he served in the Italian Army before immigrating to the United States in 1955. On February 7, 1959, Antonio married Concetta Cifani in Cleveland, Ohio. They had six children, Domenica, Sandra, Alfredo, Donna, Maria and Marc Anthony. In 1976, Antonio and Concetta moved their family from Cleveland to the home Antonio built in North Royalton, Ohio.  Antonio was a creator and could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He built his own home by himself and worked on numerous building projects around the city of Cleveland as a member of the Bricklayers Union Local 5. Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Domenica DiGiandomenico and his daughter, Domenica DiGiandomenico. Son-in-law of the late Geremia and Alessandrina Cifani. He is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Concetta; his sister and brother-in-law, Giuseppina and Michele D’Innocenzo; his sister Isabella Fontana; his brother and sister-in-law John and Emma DiGiandomenico; his daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Joseph Vitale; his son Alfredo DiGiandomenico; his daughter Donna DiGiandomenico; his daughter Maria Marusa; his son Marc Anthony DiGiandomenico.  Loving “papa” of nine grandchildren: Jacqueline Vitale, Joseph Vitale, Gabriella Wojnicz, Melanie Marusa, Nicholas Wojnicz, Isabella DiGiandomenico, Matthew Marusa, Sophia DiGiandomenico and Anthony Wojnicz.  Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), FRIDAY 4-8 P.M.
