ARTABELLE F. “ARTI” MADER (nee Trumblee), age 83; of Canton and Kelley’s Island. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Robert O. Mader; dearest daughter of the late Clarence and Artabelle Trumblee; loving aunt, great aunt and dear friend of many. Arti began her teaching career in 1964 for Rocky River Schools, then taught at Middle Branch School in Canton. She spent her later years teaching at Kent State Tuscarawas Campus. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting and cooking. Arti and her late husband Bob cherished their summers on Kelley’s Island where they enjoyed being members of the island community. She was loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity. All Services are private.
