Barbara Tatarowicz

Barbara Tatarowicz (nee Capretta), age 83, passed away peacefully Friday, October 27, 2023. Loving mother of Gina VanBeck, John Verzi (Jeannie) and Barb Jurick (Wayne); dearest grandmother of Jeanette Verzi, John Verzi, Joshua Verzi (Valerie Gibbons), Sarah Reynolds (Travis), Caroline Beckman, Joshua VanMeter and Dominic Verzi; great-grandmother of 11; beloved friend and companion of Jack Stein (deceased); daughter of Albert and Genevieve Capretta (both deceased); sister of Loretta Foose (deceased) (Roger), Dominic Capretta (deceased) and Kathleen Vargo (deceased) (Bill); beloved aunt, great-aunt and dear friend of many. Barb worked hard for her family her whole life and was always there to help. She worked many factory jobs and was a beloved nanny for many years. She finished up as a receptionist for Farmers Insurance. Barb maintained her own home and would often tackle electrical, plumbing and remodeling projects. She truly brought home the bacon and fried it up in the pan. She loved the Lord and shared the love of Jesus (Smiling) with everyone she knew and those she met on her daily trips to the gym and Giant Eagle. She will be greatly missed.
