Basil "Buz" Zappola

BASIL “BUZ” ZAPPOLA, age 81; beloved husband of Judith (nee Figuli) for 56 years; loving father of Thomas Zappola and Denise Ensign (Larry); dearest grandfather of Jordan Ensign, Logan Ensign and Addison Zappola; son of the late Peter and Frances (nee Cavoli); brother of Carmella DeSimone (Castenzio, deceased). “Dog Dad” of Jinx, J-LA, Maggie and Murphie. Buz was a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University and was one of the founding fathers of Beta Theta Pi. He received his Master’s degree from Xavier University and was a retired 30 year employee of Tremco. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org . Services at the funeral home, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
