Bernard Matyk

BERNARD MATYK “Bernie”, age 87, born in Rices Landing, PA, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Lena Matyk (nee Meserini); loving father of Andrew (Cheri) and Mary Lee Hafez (Khaled); treasured grandfather of Andrew, Amanda and Samir; devoted son of the late Andrew and Mary Margaret Matyk; dear brother of Barbara Kiss (Stephen); U.S. Navy Veteran. Bernie spent most of his life in Cleveland, Ohio, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends at his property in southern Ohio. Bernie will be remembered by all for his cheerful attitude and ever-present smile. The family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org.
