BONITA “BONNIE” V. SLONAKER (nee Wyrwa), beloved wife of the late Robert L.; loving mother of Robert C. (Joy) and Victoria; devoted grandmother of Luke, Dean, and Neil; proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Agnes Wywra, her dear sister Lois, and many aunts and uncles; Bonnie was born in Cleveland, OH and spent her childhood in Parma, OH and in Sherman Oaks, California. She moved to Mentor, OH after marrying Robert and she left her job in administration at the Cleveland office of the FBI to raise her children. She was a member of the Cleveland Chapter of the Society of FBI Alumni, Inc. After Robert’s passing in 2010 she moved to Stow, OH. She began a courageous battle with cancer in 2015 and was cared for lovingly by her daughter Victoria. She and Victoria, along with their four pet rabbits, relocated to Willowick, OH for a short time in 2018 before Bonnie moved to Montefiore in Beachwood, OH for her remaining days. She leaves behind family and friends who will keep her memory in their hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Service at the funeral home, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), MONDAY, MAY 6 FROM 5-8 P.M.
