Bruce Michael Courey

BRUCE MICHAEL COUREY, age 56; beloved husband of Peggy (nee O’Neill) for 26 years; loving father of Christine and Ryan; devoted son of Ronald and Shirley (nee Kassouf); dearest brother of Ronald, Jr.; beloved uncle of Rochelle, Robby, Lisa, Nick, Mark, Michael and Kevin; brother-in-law, cousin and dear friend of many. Bruce was a graduate of St. Edward High School, The University of Notre Dame and Case Western Reserve Law School.  He was an assistant law director for the city of Parma, a prosecutor and former magistrate for the city of Brook Park, an assistant prosecutor for Cuyahoga County and author of the Strongsville edition of the Images of America series.  He will be greatly missed by many.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Rd., Parma, OH 44134.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 12700 Pearl Rd., Strongsville, Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Woodvale Cemetery.  A private family visitation will be held at the Ripepi Funeral Home on Tuesday.
