CARRIE A. TROIANO (nee D’Altorio), Age 93; Beloved wife of the late Perry Troiano for 63 years; loving mother of Carol Chernick (Dale), Vince Troiano (deceased) (Cheryl Carlisle), Gene Troiano (Valerie) and Elaine Hall (Michael); dearest grandmother of Monica Boomsma (Kyle), David Chernick (Katy), Jeanette Troiano, Mallory Goebel (Thomas), Nicole Hall, Michael and Elyse Troiano; great grandmother of Brock, Brandt, Zane, Emmett, Tommy, Regan and Beau. Carrie lived a long life of quiet and steadfast service to her family, relatives and close friends. She skillfully prepared legendary, beautiful Italian meals and was famous for her unique fresh tomato sauce, eggplant parmigiana, traditional lasagna, delicate handcrafted ravioli and homemade bread. She was happiest when indulging those she loved with her culinary creations; canning vegetables, making homemade sausage with her husband, Perry and sending freshly made chicken soup to her beloved children and grandchildren at the news of even the most minor of maladies. Carrie was known for her wry sense of humor, wisecracks and easy-going nature. She loved to play card games, dance the waltz, iron just about anything and surround herself with her family. She blessed all of us with her continuous delivery of patience, care and love.
