CATHERINE MUNRO-GOLSON, Age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 25, 2024 surrounded by her family. Loving wife of the late Edward Golson, Jr.; beloved mother of Sara Ekkens and Conrad Ekkens; cherished grandmother of Emily Rudnitskas; great grandmother of Joshua Goins, Elizabeth Goins, Bernard Coe and Grace Coe; step-mother of David Golson; daughter of the late Henry and Laura (nee Smith) Bemis; sister of Martha Rogers, William Bemis (Rebecca Freeman) and Frank Bemis (Joyce); aunt, great aunt and dear friend of many. Cathy was a Registered Dietician working for various nursing homes before specializing in elderly and renal dieting. Her passion was being a world traveler, having been to many different countries and taking the family on various trips. Cathy has a sense of humor that is unmatched and always brought the laughter to family dinners. Her unending support of her children led them to experience life through travel and music, always finding a way for them to pursue their passions. This support continued on to her grandchild and great grandchildren through the years. Cathy was one of a kind will be truly missed by all who knew her.
