Charles May

CHARLES MAY, age 55; beloved husband of Gloria (nee Garnett); loving father of Jessica, Amanda and Nicholas; devoted son of Peter and the late Genevieve May; dear brother of Pete May (Robin), Cyleste Wollett (Ron), Scott May (Regina), Kathy Dimitrov (Dorian) and James P. May (Bonnie); uncle, cousin and friend of many. Charley was a strong man and a great leader. He worked hard and always had a plan. He loved his job as a truck driver and loved to travel. Charley knew every highway and byway. He loved to talk and would always give advice even if you didn't want it. He knew something about everything. After talking with Charley, he either got you thinking, upset, or laughing. He was known as being a character and was always telling jokes. He was a kitchen guru and a grill master, making personal favorites like rib-eye steak. He loved the outdoors, animals, and listening to music especially KISS in his younger days. Charley's happy place was sitting on his recliner watching westerns. He valued his time with his family and friends. Charley was a devoted Christian and loved Cleveland Baptist Church. He enjoyed spreading the love of God and studying the bible. Charley touched the hearts of many and will be deeply and forever missed. A celebration of Charley’s life will be announced in the future
