Clayton Howard Olson

CLAYTON HOWARD OLSON, age 77, born on October 4, 1946, sadly left us on March 19, 2024 following a brave battle with dementia.  He is survived by the love of his life for 30 years, fiancée Helen Stoyka, his son Chad Olson (Jennifer), daughter Lisa Olson and grandson Matthew.  Clayton is also survived by his siblings Carol, Barbara (Dewy) and Wally.  He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law David.  Clayton was also a loving step-father to Debbie Bartch (Bryan) and Kristie Sponder (Robert), a step-grandfather of Bryce Bartch (Katie), Kaycie Morehead (Avery), Mallorey Novak (Tyler), Sadie and Eli Sponder. He was a step-great-grandfather of Harper and Hadley Bartch and brother-in-law of Marge and Matt Sabol.  Clay was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed for over 30 years at American Greetings.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
