Listen to Obituary

COLETTA M. DUBRAY (nee Fiorito), age 86; beloved wife of Raymond T., Sr. for 65 years; loving mother of Raymond T., Jr. (Loretta), grandson Timothy Golak (Christa) and Diane El-Azom (Emad); dearest grandmother of Monica, Olivia, Reema (Ash), Zachery (Haya) and Terek; great-grandmother of Zoe, Leena and Dahlia.  Coletta dearly loved them all.  In her youth Coletta enjoyed ice skating, roller skating, tennis and horseback riding.  She made the pages of the Plain Dealer in high school with a picture and article of her and her friends when they built a giant snow girl called Dagmar, after a somewhat endowed TV personality by that name.  It caused a stir in the principal’s office at school.  Coletta also had a flare for art, especially painting ceramic pieces.  Her painting of Toby Mug figures is especially nice.  Coletta’s working career was spent mainly in the auto rental and leasing business.  She started with Chuck Kane Ford in Parma Heights, then moved to the Cleveland Airport with Avis and Hertz. She enjoyed meeting and conversing with people.  After leaving a leasing business, she took a number of secretarial positions, especially since she was a skilled typist. She was a secretary to the sales manager of Mangill Chemical in their Berea sales office and secretary to the president of Athens Food in Brook Park.  She ended her working career as secretary to the principal of St. Bridget’s grade school in Parma.  Because of her outgoing personality and friendliness, she made many friends and acquaintances over the years.  Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Academy, 3470 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH 44111.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Monday October 10, 2022 at 11 a.m.  Interment Calvary Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SUNDAY 1-5 P.M.
