DANIEL R. FAGAN passed away at the age of 79 in Parma, OH on November 13, 2024. Dan was the beloved husband of Emily (nee) Kastelic for 56 years, loving father of Ryan Fagan and Kara Fagan, son of the late James B. and Katherine Fagan, and the brother of the late James Fagan and Richard Fagan. He was also a dear friend of the Stevenson family and Ryan Helman, and he was known as “Uncle Danny” to many.

Dan was born on February 15, 1945 in Cleveland, OH. After he graduated from high school, he joined the United States Army for two years. He spent most of his time in the military serving in a communications role in Germany. He also enjoyed a successful career as an account manager for Block Drug Company for 20 years. The job allowed him to travel all over the country.

More than anything, Dan was a devoted father and husband. Whether it was traveling to new places, watching late-night movies, or just talking over coffee, he loved spending time with his family.

Dan was also a very loyal friend to many people, and he spent time with his friends consistently throughout his entire life.

Dan was a kind-hearted person who was always quick to laugh. He was warm and generous, and he loved children, animals, and nature. He was always extremely grateful and appreciative for all of the good things in his life, especially his family. Although he battled health issues for many years, he always did it with strength, determination, and dignity.

Dan will always be remembered for his generosity, dedication to his family and friends, adventurous spirit, and contagious laugh. Rest in peace, “Danny Boy”.

A memorial gathering will take place at the RIPEPI COMMUNITY CENTER, 5784 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2024, FROM 3-5PM.
