Daniel Murray

DANIEL MURRAY, age 54, of Parma, Ohio passed away at Southwest General hospital on Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was born in Lakewood Ohio on August 14th,1969 to Maureen (English) Murray and the late Jay J. Murray. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife Vera (Sieber) Murray with whom he was happily married for the last 10 years; brother Michael (Kim), and sisters Sharon Leasure, Ann (Tom) Neidenbach and Kathleen (Mike) Ward; stepson Anthony Peterson and step-granddaughters Addy and Hannah, stepdaughter Chrissy Sieber (fiancé Doug French); and numerous nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his father Jay and brothers Tim and John.

A graduate of Lakewood High school, Dan obtained his CDL and most recently worked for CA Agresta construction company and the city of Cleveland at Hopkins airport. He had a strong work ethic and valued his work and co-workers. He also valued volunteering, helping serve meals to those in need during the holidays and helping rebuild housing for low-income families. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and was known for his expertise as a barbeque chef. He also enjoyed taking care of his dog Kazi.

Dan was an organ donor and the family hopes that his gift of organ and tissue donation will positively impact many families.

A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at a later date. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday August 24 from 1-4 p.m. at the Wallace Lake Canopy, located off Valley Parkway in Mill Stream Reservation, Berea (1 mile south of Bagley Rd.).  Please come with stories to share about Dan.
