David William Kelly

DAVID WILLIAM KELLY, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends. David bravely accepted his diagnoses of Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), choosing to live his life to the fullest, always filled with joy and gratitude.  Cherished husband of Michelle (nee Carter) for 28 years; loving and proud father of sons, Ian and Jacob; dear brother of Kathleen Bunetta (Bill) and Brian Kelly (Theresa); beloved son-in-law of James and Joanne Carter; fond brother-in-law of Rebecca Rumsey (Jim), Jim Carter (Suzanne), Gretchen Evard (Jim) and Matthew Carter (Missy); devoted uncle of 15; great-uncle of three; dearest friend of many.  May he rest in peace with his beloved parents, Robert and Alice (nee Telzrow).  David was a beloved pastoral musician at St. Charles Borromeo Church for over 30 years and was honored to share his musical gifts for the greater honor and glory of God.  He will be dearly missed.  The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Holy Family Hospice for their loving care of David.  Those wishing to make a donation in David’s memory, may do so to Holy Family Hospice, The Donna Smallwood Activities Center, St. Charles Borromeo Church, St. Mary Seminary or to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SUNDAY 3-8 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
