DIANE SYBIL WELFLEY (nee Dusenbury), age 61; a faithful servant of God, went home to the Lord on Thursday, February 12th , 2026. Beloved wife of John Welfley; dear mother of Ashley Dusenbury, John Paul Welfley, Jeffrey Welfley and Alivia Welfley; grandmother of Peighton and Londyn; sister of Marjorie Hildebrandt (William, deceased), Larry Dusenbury (deceased) and Don Dusenbury (Joanne) (both deceased); loving aunt and dear friend of many. Diane loved singing, playing the piano, dancing, baking and spending time with her family, while bringing magic into every holiday. She enjoyed sharing her gift of music with others, also spending time in nature, with animals, and camping. She invited strangers into her home with open arms. She is loved and will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held at RIPEPI COMMUNITY CENTER, 5784 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), Friday, February 27th, 2026 from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Church of the Ascension, 13216 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107 on Saturday February 28th, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Private.
