DOLLY ANN PELZ (nee Barr), age 92; went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, May 27, 2019; beloved wife of the late Frank for 53 years, loving mother of David Pelz, Pamela Committe and Judy Warner (Leigh); dearest grandmother of Kaylee Pelz, Brett Pelz and Joshua Committe; sister of the late Edna Masor. Dolly spent time in show business in the 1950’s as a professional roller skater where she performed acrobatic routines. She toured the United States, Puerto Rico and Cuba, also performing for the military troops. She was on the Ed Sullivan and Steve Allen Shows as well as appearing in bills with Burt Lahr, Patty Page and Mel Torme. Services at the funeral home, Saturday, June 1 at 10 a.m. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) FRIDAY 4-7 P.M.
