DOMENICA AMATA (nee Purpora), age 91, born in Sant’Agata di Militello, Sicily, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore; devoted mother of Mario Amata (Susan), Salvatore Amata (Alexandria), Angela Amata and Nancy George (Raymond); dear mother-in-law of Julianne Marksz; dearest grandmother of Theodore, Matthew, Eric, Joshua, Jessica, Raymond K., Dominic, Elias, Raymond and Helen; great-grandmother of eight; daughter of the late Salvatore and Angelina Purpora; sister, aunt and dear friend of many.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ames Family Hospice House, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, OH 44145.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Brooklyn, Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.  Friends received at church, Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m.
