Donald Charles Grimes, Sr.

DONALD CHARLES GRIMES, SR. “Don”, age 70; loving father of Donny Grimes, Jr.; former husband and dear friend of Cindy Abraham Grimes; son of the late Charles and Mary (Borich) Grimes; US Marine Corps Veteran. He worked as an Assistant Plant Manager for the Cleveland Water Department, retiring after 25 years. Don was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan.  He loved animals, nature, reading and classic rock, especially AC/DC. He was a friend of Bill W. for over 30 years.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113 www.clevelandapl.org. Service at the funeral home, Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 12:45 p.m. Interment immediately following at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville at 2:30 p.m.  Friends received for visiting at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD.
