Donald L. Reinke, Jr., age 68, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Beloved father of Kennedy Reinke; cherished son of the late Donald L. Reinke Sr. and Jacqueline F. Reinke; dear brother of Lynn Brunner, Ronald Reinke, and Richard Reinke (Gigi); loving uncle of Jennifer, Jessica, Hannah, Christine, and Carlie; and adored great-uncle of Jacey, Jadyn, Juliana, and Jaxyn.

Known to many as Don or Donny, he graduated from Cathedral Latin High School with the Class of 1975. To those who knew him, he was the life of the party, and he always knew how to have a good time.

A proud plumber by trade, Don dedicated his career to Plumbers Local 55, where he worked for 23 years before retiring. Retirement never slowed him down. He remained actively involved with the union and continued doing what came naturally to him: helping others. Whether it was fixing a plumbing problem, remodeling a bathroom, or tackling just about any project, Don was always just a phone call away. There wasn’t a problem he couldn’t fix.

Don was also an accomplished bowler who spent many years competing in leagues, where he bowled multiple perfect 300 games. He was a passionate Cleveland sports fan who never missed watching an Indians game or cheering on the Browns. His love for his hometown was matched only by the love he had for his family, friends, and neighbors.

He had a heart that was always open to others, and he never let those he loved question how much they meant to him. His generosity, humor, and unwavering willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
