Donald P. Shury

DONALD P. SHURY, age 84, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 17, 2023; loving father of Lisa Shury Carter (Robert Berni) and the late Donald P. Shury II; loving companion of Carolyn Dennis; son of the late James and Helen (nee Gasper) Shury; brother of the late James, Helen Zaitz, Eleanore Bessel, Robert and Deanna Shury; beloved uncle of Jan Klemencic (Scott), Gloria Galdun (Joseph) and the late Tony Chernik and Paul Bessel; great-uncle of many; longtime friend of Steve Hrusovsky and Anna Kucirek.  Don was a well known and respected business man in Cleveland for many years.  He owned and operated A-1 Bonding, State Alarm and A Classic Car Appraisal.  He was an avid car collector, enjoyed travel and frequented various restaurants.  Don was a member of the Oldsmobile Club and the Antique Auto Club.  He was a former board member of the Kidney Foundation of Ohio.
