Doris M. Kaczmarek

DORIS M. KACZMAREK (nee Kowalski), age 98, passed away August 23, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Waldemer for 36 years; loving mother of Donna, Timothy and Janice Kaczmarek; sister of the late Angeline Bacho; grandma to her granddogs Lucy, Harper, Crosby and Mickey.  Doris retired from American Greetings after 25 years.  She volunteered at Deaconess Hospital and MetroHealth Medical Center for over 20 years and was a longtime participant, and multi-time winner of several events at the Old Brooklyn Senior Olympics.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Medical Center www.stjude.org. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Brooklyn, Tuesday August 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), TUESDAY 9-9:30 A.M.
