DORIS ELIZABETH NEWPORT (nee Holz), age 101, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Loving wife of the late Richard, Sr. for 50 years; beloved mother of Richard C. Newport, Jr. (Carolyn) (both deceased), James Newport (deceased), Judy Farkas (John), Maryanne Pothast (Phil), Janet Fortnam (Steve), Donna Newport, Suzanne Malone (Steve) and Renee Newport (deceased); cherished grandmother of 20; great-grandmother of 33; great-great grandmother of many; sister of the late Carl, Helen, Marge, Gertrude, Alice and Colette; aunt, cousin and dear friend of many.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11 a.m. with a procession to Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
