DOROTHY A. GOSNEY (nee Bungo), age 80, longtime resident of Independence, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late James; loving mom of Debra Ebsch (Howard), Kimberly Spencer (deceased) (Larry), Denise Maggio (Randy), Dawn Sufka (Carl Baker), Francis Gosney (deceased), Kristine Lucas (Randy) and Lisa Montalvo (Eddie); grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of seven; beloved daughter of the late Frank and Helen (nee Poshedly) Bungo; dearest sister of Genevieve Szydlowski and the late Raymond and Jeanie Bungo; special Godmother of Dale Szydlowski, Sr.; beloved aunt and dear friend of many. In lieu of flowers, donations to her family would be appreciated.  Service at the funeral home, Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD.
