Dorothy J. Sosinski

DOROTHY J. SOSINSKI (nee Norton), age 90, passed away May 26, 2017.  Born in Bedford, Ohio to the late Frank and Emma Norton; beloved wife for 64 years of Dr. Carl Sosinski; loving mother of Dr. Cathryn Powers (Mark), Kurt (Beth), and Eric; devoted grandmother to Kara and Ryan; dearest sister of Jim Norton (Eleanor), Kathleen Murray (Jack) (both deceased), and Jack Norton (Joanne) (both deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many; cherished friend of Dorothy Presson.  A member of the Cadet Nurses Corps, Dorothy received her Registered Nursing diploma from Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and BSN from Western Reserve College, and served the Visiting Nurse Association before assisting her husband with his podiatry practice and raising their family.  She was a founding member of the Middleburg Heights Historical Society, was an avid antique collector, and enjoyed exploring her family’s Yorkshire English heritage.  The family will receive friends at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), MONDAY, JUNE 5 FROM 4-7 P.M.
