EDWARD “ED” BALAS, age 81, passed away peacefully after a brief illness; beloved husband of Nancy (nee Cunningham); dear stepfather of William Heffern (Debra) and Ronald Heffern (Linda); loving grandfather “Pappy Ed” of Amanda, Rachel, Ryan and Will. Proud US Army Veteran. Services at the funeral home, Friday September 27, 2019 at 12 noon. Interment Woodvale Cemetery. Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), FRIDAY 10 A.M. – 12 NOON.
