Edward M. Francis

EDWARD M. FRANCIS, age 89; beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Ade) for 50 years; loving father of Anita Lesczcynsky (deceased), Annette Antolik (deceased), Antoinette Wendzicki (Christopher), Tony Francis, Mickey Francis (deceased), Michelle Berlinger (Ellery) and Rose Marandola; dearest grandfather of 18; great-grandfather of seven; son of the late Moussa and Shafica (nee Shaheen). Edward was the youngest sibling of five who have all passed on; Abdallah Francis, Adeebe Mubarak, Tanous Kassis and Zareefe Abou Assi; brother-in-law of Joseph Ade (Andree) and Georgette Machar (Raymond) and uncle of many. Adib grew up in Khirbet Qanafar, Lebanon where he also married Josephine, the love of his life, on May 10, 1959. He then came to the USA, where he settled and raised seven children. He was a hardworking man who owned several businesses and bars, including a Lebanese restaurant, while working at Terex GM as a welder. He has touched so many hearts and will always be remembered as the best father, gido and friend to many. Funeral service at St. Elias Church, 8023 Memphis Ave., Brooklyn, Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received in church, FRIDAY from 10 -11 A.M.
