EDWARD DONALD KAROLICK, Age 87, passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2026. Loving husband of Anna Marie (nee Lisac) for 63 years; beloved father of Dawn Marie Karolick, Theresa Fox, Katherine Karolick, Bridget Zorbas (Matthew), Beth Mash (Bill) and Mitch Karolick; cherished grandfather of Kerr Kacmarcik (Stacy), William Mash, Tommy Mash (Alivia Payne), Samantha Mash, Alexa Zorbas, Calista Zorbas, Brandon Karolick (deceased), Nik Karolick and Jayla Karolick; great grandfather of Shailyn Kacmarcik; son of the late Edward and Helen (nee Podolak); brother of Linda Perkins (Don) and Sandy Stohlman (Jim); uncle, cousin and dear friend of many. Don retired after a long career with General Motors. He was a long-time member of various chess organizations, playing in many tournaments through out the years and even meeting his beloved wife at a chess tournament. In his younger years he enjoyed playing guitar. Later in life, Don could be found teaching and playing chess or scrabble with his grandchildren. A funeral procession to follow to Holy Cross Cemetery.
