EDWARD S. KHOURI, age 83, born in Aramoun, Lebanon, passed away peacefully at his home, Friday, September 18, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved father of Claude (Yolanda) and Clifford (Rani); dearest grandfather of Dustin, Nino and Mario; great-grandfather of Angelo; son of the late Salim and Hind; dear brother of Camille (Miladi) (both deceased), Elaine Jacobs (Fred, deceased), Nawal Akar, Elie (Justine) and Dunia McPherson (David); beloved uncle, great-uncle and dear friend of many. Also survived by Corrine, the mother of his children. Eddie was the founder and owner of the iconic Middle East Restaurant in Cleveland for over four decades. His warmth, generosity and love for all will be greatly missed. Service at the Funeral Home, Monday, September 21 at 10 a.m. and at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2587 W. 14 St., Cleveland, Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. Trisagion service Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SUNDAY 2-7 P.M.
