Edward J. Wanyerka

EDWARD J. WANYERKA, age 95. Beloved son of the late Julius and Justina Wanyerka. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Helen L. (nee Schuler); loving father of Ronald (deceased), Phillip (Nancy), Elene Sowl, and Kathryn Ayoub (Samy); grandfather of five: Brandon, Geoffrey, Ryan, Samira, and Hayden; great grandfather of three: Ian, Nathan, and Roman; preceded in death by 11 siblings: Augusta, Pauline, William, Josephine, William, Julius (Ann), and Emil; Irene Ohlrich (William), Molly Robinson (William), Elsie Brown (Robert), and Josephine Lawther (Arthur). U.S. Army Veteran, served under General Patton in the 10th Infantry, Fifth Division during WWII. Edward had a long and distinguished career in the printing ink business here in Cleveland, Ohio. He loved and cherished his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Passed away September 16, 2021. Funeral mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church 5891 Ridge Road, Parma, Ohio, Monday, September 20 at 12 noon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Family will receive friends in church 11 a.m. – 12 noon.
