ELEANOR “ELLY” M. MILLER, (nee Francescangeli), age 92; passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Glenn for 51 years; loving mother of Glenn (Cathy Wunderlee) and Perry; grandmother of Brian (Jessica) and Lisa; great-grandmother of Sebastian; sister and best friend of the late Evelyn Jacobs (Joseph), Jerry Francesangelo (Elma), Gene Frans (Dorothy), Evo Francescangeli (Helen), Bob Francescangeli (Joann); sister-in-law of the late Marilyn McGinty (Edward) (Gerry) and Diane Francescangeli; mother-in-law of Diane Miller; beloved aunt, cousin and dear friend of many.

Elly was born in Adrianne, PA to Dominic and Delfina (nee Montali) Francescangeli. At nine years old, her family moved to Cleveland, OH. She attended West Tech High School, where she was a proud member of the “Sub-Debs” and formed close, lifelong friendships. In 1952, Elly began a dedicated 35-year career with the federal government, starting as a secretary for the Coast Guard and retiring in 1994 as a Loan Officer for the SBA. She deeply loved working in downtown Cleveland, fondly remembering mornings meeting friends for coffee in The Arcade, followed by lively lunch plans and shopping trips.

With a true zest for life, Elly was always on the go, constantly seeking, learning, and squeezing far more than 92 years of experiences into her lifetime. She had a rare, beautiful ability to see the absolute best in everyone and everything. An avid traveler, reader, and theater lover, she shared her passions with her community by volunteering as an usher for the Cleveland Opera. She became deeply involved in the Middleburg Hts. Women’s Club, ultimately serving as its President and finding a wonderful, cherished group of friends through their work together. In 2025, she was also honored as a lifelong honorary member of the North Italian Club and was a longtime member of the Holy Family Sodality of St. Rocco Church and a parishioner of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Above all, her family brought her immense pride, and her great-grandson, Sebastian, brought an extra measure of pure joy to her life.

Family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or the Wounded Warrior Project, www.Wounded Warrior Project. Prayers of Christian Burial at the funeral home, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Family and friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) WEDNESDAY from 12 noon- 2 p.m.
