Eleanor Spurgeon

ELEANOR SPURGEON (nee Rife), age 78; beloved wife of the late Joe H Spurgeon for 56 years; loving mother of Thomas, Brian Sr. (Carrie) and the late Keith Spurgeon. Adored grandmother of Carol Clague (Cliff), Brian Spurgeon Jr., Kristen Spurgeon, Zachary Spurgeon (Katlyn) and Danielle Mencini (Jeffrey) as well as a great-grandmother of five. Cherished sister of Howard, Betty, Eddie, Sharon, Rita and the late Scotty and Laverne; remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of the late Virgil and Geneva Rife. All of whom loved her dearly and will greatly miss her wit, laughter, charm, grace, and caring nature. Prayer service at the funeral home, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 12 noon.  Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), TUESDAY 9 A.M. – 11 A.M.
