ELMER "COACH AL" HEINRICH, age 87, passed away August 13, 2014 in Cape Coral, Fl.; beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Long); loving father of Bruce (Marsha) and Lynn; dearest grandfather of Jason and Brandt; brother of George (Ann); uncle of the Stolarik and Kerwin families; loving companion of the late Nadine Stilla (John). Al was a decorated WWII U.S. Army Veteran, retired Cleveland firefighter, Athletic Director and CYO Football Coach at Holy Family School and former owner of the Bosworth Café. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled Vets at www.dvnf.org or Wounded Warriors at www.woundedwarrior.org. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 7367 York Rd., Parma, Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. (please meet at church) with reception immediately to follow at the community room at Ripepi Funeral Home. Family and friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 FROM 1-6 P.M.
