Evelyn Laperna

EVELYN LaPERNA (nee Contrera) of Seven Hills, Ohio; passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the age of 91. We bid farewell to a beloved matriarch, a devoted mother, and cherished grandmother. Evelyn's warmth and love created a lasting legacy within her family. Evelyn found joy in the simple pleasures of life, spending countless hours crocheting beautiful creations that became treasured keepsakes for her family. Her eyes would light up at the mention of the casino, and she had a special fondness for the Game Show Network and Cleveland sports. Evelyn is survived by her five children: Maria (Richard), Michael, Mark, Anthony Jr, and Joseph, her brother Anthony (Maria), five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Evelyn's heart held a special place for her late husband, Anthony who passed away just two months ago.  His departure left an indelible mark on her, and she found comfort in the memories they shared. Unable to imagine life without him, Evelyn's passing reunites her with the love of her life, “her Tony”. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May she and Anthony rest in eternal peace, reunited in a love that transcends time. Services at the funeral home, Friday, February 9, 2024 at 1 p.m. Final Resting Place Calvary Cemetery.
