Frank Corniello

Frank was a graduate of South High in Cleveland and a printer his entire career.  He is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife and high school sweetheart (Rita) of 71+ years; Children: Diane Corniello, Seville; Kathryn (Robert) Bulka, Medina; Donald (Cynthia) Corniello, Brunswick; Susan (Thomas) Boyne,  Toledo; and Kenneth (Lynn) Corniello, Texas; Grandchildren: Tamara (Ryan) English, Scott Bulka, Jennifer Corniello, Jeffrey (Amanda) Corniello, James Corniello, Brian (Elisha) Boyne, Rebecca Lichwala, Brittany (Eric) Suszka and Alexis Corniello; Great Grandchildren: Calvin & Jack Courtock, Derek, Travis & Jacob Corniello, Noah & Ethan Boyne, Santana Monteiro, Margaret & Clancy English.  Sisters-in-law, Grace Furcello, Rose Corniello and brother-in-law Ross C. Furcello along with many nieces & nephews.

Frank enjoyed watching all sports and playing baseball (his favorite sport) as a youth and young adult.  He also was on many bowling leagues and enjoyed golfing with his brother.  He and Rita loved music including ballroom and polka dancing and attended many Home Days enjoying polka bands.  They also belonged to a card club (Penny Poker) with family and close friends for over 50 years. Gardening was also a favorite hobby but Frank’s GREATEST pride & joy was his family and family activities.  He clearly loved his family unconditionally and lived by the motto “FAMILY FIRST” his entire life. He was a GREAT son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and loved by all.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Medina Meadows & Hospice of Medina County/Western Reserve for their compassionate and exceptional care in his final months and days to both Frank and family.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 4-8 pm at Waite & Sons Funeral Homes Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court Street, Medina, OH  44256. Services will be held 10 am Thursday, August 16, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 East Washington Street, Medina.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, OH 44142.
