Frank J. Mekker

FRANK J. MEKKER, age 90; beloved husband of the late Mildred (nee Lenart) for 58 years; loving father of Holly Laferriere (David, deceased); dearest brother of the late Ernest Czier, Ann Radway and Mary Rocawich; loving uncle of Eric and Pauline Tekalec and their children, Angela and Chris Dokus, Michael, Nina and Joseph Tekalec; beloved uncle and great-uncle of many other nieces and nephews. Frank was a proud U.S. Marine Corp Korean War Veteran. He was a three time commander of VFW Post 7609 and did volunteer work for the city of Seven Hills where he was Santa Claus for 17 years. He will be greatly missed. All services at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 6220 Broadview Rd., Parma, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11 a.m. Final resting place Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
