Genaro Marez

GENARO MAREZ, age 87; passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Loving father of Deanna Howard (Robert) and Maria Baker; dearest grandfather of Nicole DiTommaso, Amanda Walden (Kane), Ava Tvedten (Rob), Renee Howard and Rafferty Howard; great-grandfather of Madison, Elena and Killian; son of the late Concepcion (nee Castaneda); brother of the late Mary Torres, Salvador Marez, Josephine Gutierrez and Connie Trevino; beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Gino was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during the Korean conflict. Following his military service, he had a successful 29 year career at Rockwell International. Post-retirement he earned certification as a racquet ball instructor and spent many years teaching racquetball at the Atlanta Falcon’s complex. He also loved dogs and frequently adopted dogs in need of a loving home. He will be greatly missed by many.
