Genevieve "Jeanne" Sharkin

GENEVIEVE “JEANNE” SHARKIN (nee Klubnik), age 88; beloved wife of the late William S. Sharkin for 53 years; loving mother of Brian Sharkin (Martha Oakley), Gwenn Besse (Lou) and Jennifer Burchak; dearest grandmother of Christina Sharkin, Laura Sharkin and Jarret Burchak; daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (nee Merva) Klubnik; sister of Albert Klubnik, Beth Ann Ganz (Jim) and Raymond Klubnik (deceased) (Donetta); sister-in-law of Vera Kane (Donald, Deceased), Jeannie Davis and the late Helen Dennison and Maryann Sharkin; beloved aunt, great-aunt and dear friend of many. Jeanne was the best mother and friend. She was a member and past President of the Parma Heights Democratic club, a joint committee person for the Cuyahoga County Democratic party. She worked as an usher at Jacobs Field and a suite attendant at Cleveland Browns Stadium. A special thank you to the nurses, aides and volunteers of the Hospice of Western Reserve for their care, compassion and support. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 13400 Lorain Ave., Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
