GEORGE F. CALOGAR Age 88. Devoted husband of Betty Jean (nee Wakelee) for 64 years. Beloved father of Cindy Eging (Jim), Gary Calogar (deceased) and Lisa Zitiello. Fanatic loving grandfather of Melissa Lalonde, Matthew Eging, Michael Eging, Isabel Zitiello, and Vincent Zitiello. Great grandfather of seven. Dearest brother of Elaine Murphy and the late John and Larry. George was the founder of Tri-Weld Inc. and a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Gary Calogar Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o The University of Akron or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Services at the funeral home Tuesday February 17 at 11 AM. Friends received at Ripepi Funeral Home 5762 Pearl Road (at Snow Road) Monday 4-7 PM.
