George M. Yorko

GEORGE M. YORKO, age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Loving partner of Beverly Bankston for 24 years; beloved father of Joel Yorko, Christa Kintner (Joseph) and Shawnda Miller (Bryan); son of the late George and Josephine Yorko; brother of the late Paul Yorko (Patsy), James Yorko (Ann) and Roberta Corrigan (Michael); uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear friend of many. George retired from Cuyahoga Community College Police Department after 35 years. He loved life and spending time with his family, going camping, hiking and to fairs, mostly for the food. He loved to tell stories, listen to music and, more importantly, telling jokes to get laughs out of everyone. Contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network www.pancan.org .
