In Loving Memory of Antonio Giovanni Demonte “John”

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and husband, Antonio Giovanni Demonte “John”.

John was a man whose life was built around family, hard work, perseverance, and the values he carried throughout his years. His strength, determination, and dedication to those he loved helped shape the lives of everyone around him.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rosa Demonte, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, challenges, laughter, and love. Together, they built a family rooted in their Italian heritage, strong traditions, and an unbreakable sense of family.

John was a devoted father to his sons, Nick and Pietro Demonte, and father-in-law to Mandy Demonte. He was a proud grandfather to Nick Jr., Antonio, Bianca (Ryan Sparhawk), and Brittany Reynolds, and a cherished great-grandfather to Arianna and Camila Reynolds.

Family was an important part of John’s life. Through the years, he experienced the joys and challenges that come with raising a family, watching his children grow, and seeing new generations carry on the Demonte name.

Like so many fathers of his generation, John expressed his love in his own way. His life was a testament to resilience, sacrifice, and the importance of family. The lessons he passed down, the memories he created, and the impact he had on those closest to him will remain long after his passing.

The loss of John comes just months after the passing of his beloved wife, Rosa. While our hearts are broken by the loss of both of our parents in such a short time, we find comfort in believing they are reunited once again.

John leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory, honor his legacy, and cherish the years they were blessed to share with him.

Rest peacefully, Dad. Your journey here may have ended, but your story will continue through your children, grandchildren, and the generations that follow.

You will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rocco Church, located at 3205 Fulton Rd., Cleveland, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Following the mass, the entombment will take place in the St. Jude Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the Ripepi Funeral Home, 5762 Pearl Rd. (at Snow Rd.), on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
